The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
